	♥ 11:17pm coelacanth∅: when i got covid i didn't lose my sense of smell but weird things happened to it, and i did lose my sense of taste, mostly. when my taste came back everything tasted and smelled the same, and i still cannot describe that taste/smell. then it gradually changed a few times until my taste was normal but i involuntarily imagine a fragrance much of the time that's like vanilla or something. makes me want cookies all the time! but my actual sense of smell is far less sensitive than it was, and it's been over a year.
