@McGroovey: I love cedar, but it's intense. Maybe a partially cedar barrel, 3/4 oak and a bit of clove finish to taste.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm
love2laf:

Innis & Gunn can be bought here, and it is a decent beer. One year though, a bar had it on tap, while I was looking after my Dad. I drank that every damned time I could get there, it was a completely different beer on tap.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm
Handy Haversack:

Oh, yeah, I've had that, Matt! Small doses, but it's good.

DjLorraine, very much depends on where you want to use it! A friend has the Ally-brand rubber canoe, which is pretty cool once you get the assembly figured out. I have also seen some really light paper ones.

But I wouldn't want to be on the East River in them! Calm waters, though? A light, portable boat would be a treat!

I love ELO. I like seeing Radiohead live, for some reason, but I'm interferent to their records. Seventies Queen is key teenage music for me (and my teenage daughter is a Queen fan now).

The others in egould's list, I'm basically indifferent to. I know I've heard Sublime and Tupac that I dislike, but not enough to put them on my rant-list -- not enough to remember what they are. Like, I hate that song Closing Time, and I hate it so much that I've been known to spend 30 minutes describing why I hate it so much.

Lester letting us know what Astral Weeks meant.-"It's no Eastern mystic or psychedelic vision of the emerald beyond, nor is it some Baudelairean perception of the beauty of sleaze and grotesquerie. Here's something regarding Ceremony: "The record is described by another as being "one of the great screw-ups in rock history". As Wright describes it, "...We did a project that wasn't our album. It was with this French electronic music composer named Pierre Henry. We just told the label, 'You know this is his album, not our album. We'll play on it just like musicians.' And then when the album was finished, they said, 'Oh no no — it's great. We're gonna release this as your next album.' We said, 'You can't do that. It doesn't have anything to do with the direction of Spooky Two and it will ruin our career.' And that's exactly what happened."
