Sine Nomine Subharmonic Orchestra  Ananael   Favoriting Etharzi C Madriax  This album is entirely in the “Angelic Tongue” widely known today as the “Enochian Language.” First received by John Dee and Edward Kelley from 1583 - 1584 e.v.. These recordings are the result of a collaboration between several Initiates and Murmur, the 54th Daimon of the Lemegeton. It is intended to enhance the atmosphere of an open temple and to help induce “Ritual Consciousness.” This Musick is designed to more easily facilitate the raising of subtle energies and to assist in establishing a link between different dimensions. We recommend using these songs with the same caution you would afford a powerful drug, or even a full-contact martial art.

Mouse On Mars  Spatial Jitter A   Favoriting Spatial Jitter  A rotatable horn loudspeaker pitchforks a sound like a pinball into the 110-yard Kunstbau, where it rebounds on the pillars, cants, splinters, is gathered back in, and dies down. One by one, additional sounds from a virtually inexhaustible repertoire are sent out into the space and modulated. Percussive devices operated by robots interject analog acoustic accents. Sequences of different lengths are continuously rearranged so that no two of them recur in the same order. The audience experiences the orchestrated unfolding of a dynamic composition in three dimensions. The space and the sounds generated from it clash and respond to each other, resulting in an acoustic dialogue. A dedicated illumination program is coordinated with the music, seconding the sonic movements and sometimes standing in for them. The installation intends to challenge the audience to active listening, in which only the limits of attention determine the limits of what is acoustically possible. With targeted shifts of perspective, Mouse on Mars propose to demonstrate their conviction that there is no one valid composition: each listener produces his or her own “spatial compostruction.”

Speaking of long-ish pieces. Do you know Richard Garet based in NY? I really love his stuff. Richard Garet is a multimedia artist based in NYC. He holds an MFA from Bard College, NY. Richard Garet's approach to working with sound focuses on interacting with materials' sonic properties as both source and instrument. Such materials are amplified EMF emissions, modified audiocassettes, dysfunctional tape players, circuit boards, sonification of light, and computer processing among others. richardgaret.bandcamp.com

Hi Jim! Hi all! I just duck duck goed "Bufotenin" because it's great and nothing showed up...nothing related to music. Instead I guess I can learn a lot about some new drug I had never heard about before.
