	11:12am Jeff: First time at Max’s May ‘73 (I went over and talked to him between sets. Shaking hands with Wolf was one of the greatest moments in my life). Second time was later that year at Avery Fisher (or Philharmonic Hall). Triple bill with Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee and Mose Allison. A friend of mine sat on Wolf’s knee backstage at Ann Arbor in ‘69, and there’s a photo of it! I wish my meeting with Wolf was captured in a photo, but it’s deep in my soul regardless.

I just read an interview that Bob Dylan said, and I'm paraphrasing here "I own the '60's, but the sixties are like the civil war."

	1:26pm Wendy S: Broken Social Scene (an indie Canadian group that’s been around since the early 2000’s). Great show. They’re definitely one of those “wall of sound” type groups.
	1:26pm AZ Dave: For me, it was the checker at Trader Joe's who remarked on my tee shirt and then got my spiel -- after a long pause when he asked why kind of music they play. Happened the other day.
	1:26pm doctorjazz: My daughter claimed one of my WFMU fleece jackets (she doesn't listen on her own, but lord knows she hears tons of it in the house). She gets many comments on it, gets into discussions, lots of fans out there in Joisey!

	1:28pm Dean: I also have a TJ's WFMU story. I had coffee with Uncle Michael when he was in the area a few years ago. He dropped me off at the nearby TJ's before doing his own shopping and heading out. I spied a friend in line and so I mentioned that I'd just had coffee with a WFMU DJ. The customer in front of him in line turned and exclaimed, "There's a WFMU DJ in town?!" She had worked extensively at the UC Berkeley radio station, KALX, and so she knew well the legacy of WFMU.

None of these albums are credited to a seemingly "Morris On" band (who doesn't really exist as an entity), but several compilations have used this moniker to simplify the credit (or by ignorance)." 	11:12am Jeff: First time at Max’s May ‘73 (I went over and talked to him between sets. Shaking hands with Wolf was one of the greatest moments in my life). Second time was later that year at Avery Fisher (or Philharmonic Hall). Triple bill with Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee and Mose Allison. A friend of mine sat on Wolf’s knee backstage at Ann Arbor in ‘69, and there’s a photo of it! I wish my meeting with Wolf was captured in a photo, but it’s deep in my soul regardless.

He dropped me off at the nearby TJ's before doing his own shopping and heading out. I spied a friend in line and so I mentioned that I'd just had coffee with a WFMU DJ. The customer in front of him in line turned and exclaimed, "There's a WFMU DJ in town?!" She had worked extensively at the UC Berkeley radio station, KALX, and so she knew well the legacy of WFMU.
