This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

is this typical of this album?
Avatar 7:30pm

it is most of the album! there's another short track that we'll hear later on that's much more predictive of Comelade's later sound, and the other sidelong track is similar in some ways but much less lovely
Avatar 7:31pm

much better to find a version of it from the "My Degeneration" reissue than a rip of the original, sound quality-wise

Living the dream. The lake behind my apt burst it’s banks this morning and flooded my apt w/ knee high water. I was later put into a small unfinished apt on the second floor. 16 hours later, still no power. Volunteering at the mission, we have random homeless sprawled in the cafeteria floor as well as the usual homeless in the dorm. And, I jerry-rigged the op w/ my laptop, phone, a generator, and a floodlight, outside alone, under a shelter. Good times (saved most of my clothes and books, thankfully).
