Loretta was a biiiiggg part of my childhood. Grandma played her constantly (along with others - Conway, Monroe, Skaggs, many). But Loretta was the go-to. Grandma would get pissed at us kids. One of her sayings was “i swear i’d rather be at Butcher Holler than with yoons!”. Grandma was born in Kentucky (Near Salyersville).
