	🥁 1:49pm David (in London): doc, I've seen Burt Bacharach a few times, and same thing applies. He's really no great singer himself, but it adds a real note of delight to the proceedings.
	1:50pm doctorjazz: That he did sometimes, that humming/sing along, Keith Jarret/Glenn Gould type of thing, but it was not too conspicuous, not all the time.

	1:55pm Stork: The NDR and WDR bands here in Germany - paid for largely with our tax money I might add, are just gleaming jewels, and have been for decades.
