@Dennis - indeed it was cut directly into two borrowed ADAT machines! All overdubs done in my pad on W24th street except the saxes cause I couldn't make that much noise or I'd get complaints. And the violins were done in western Massachusetts with the guy who came up with that great title!

DENNY, saw the Temps in 1965 at the Tower Theater, 69th and Market Sts.in Philly, September of 1965. I think my college roommate and I paid 5 bucks each for a show that also featured Dyke and the Blazers("Funky Broadway"), the Five Stairsteps and Cubie("In a World of Fantasy") and three other acts. The Temps were ultra-impressive in their silver suits and singing into their custom 5-pronged microphone setup. Their choreography was incomparable, as always.

Yes! I saw the 5 original Tempations at a movie theatre turned venue on Route 4 in Paramus of all places. It was my second "show". The first was the Blues Project. An afternoon show at Palisades Amusement Park of all places!
