We were really disappointed. Of course, I'd also been on the water for seven hours without eating or peeing and was freezing cold, so it was nice to go home, get a hot shower, and fall into a pizza.

@HH sorry about cancellation. I am still fighting with TM RE my old Blackmore's Night tickets -- I had bought VIP tix two years ago, their show this weekend has no VIP seating so my ticket isn't valid, and as it is still listed as "pending reschedule" I can't get a refund allegedly. May have to take it up with my CC company.

Live version 'Time' a real treat yeah ?
...Yeah as usual - was spoon-fed by my older brother - who had a real GlitterRawk phase (I don't remember 'Glam' from the actual period !)
...Specific Bowie memory I have is hearing 'Future Legend' - the intro to the DiamondDogs LP - creeping from under the bedroom doors - & taping it into my little 70s cassette recorder ...one degree of Awe or another up until 2016 with the Final Bowie-ism of BlackStar.
With JohnLennon here for Fame.

The album Blackstar is an incredible send-off by a musical genius. it's truly haunting and beautiful. he knowingly went out on a high note.

Often think of how Creative are Bauhaus as just a Gittar-Bass-Drums-Vocals RawkBand. When obviously there are so very many. Something in common with that Spiders era of Bowie.

was it posthumously or when it came out?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:29pm

I believe it was released, he died a few days after

I was not hip to much music beyond The Grateful Dead and some music I learned about in College.

I don’t recall when Bowie Passed Away so it had to be after

ok i do remember watching Labyrinth and being scared. but that didn't make me seek out his music. i probably didn't realize he was a star. and i am sure i heard his music on classic rock radio, but it was Seu Jorge's versions that made me curious

LeftBrain RightBrain. As a Species we are Conceptual - & Verbal. Yerknow - articulate these little noises with a voicebox ...quite weird you think of it.
But we have other Parts.
Describing Musics & Arts - & Feelings - what have you - in Words ...can be very useful. But ...it's not always Essential. In fact not always Constructive.
...It is, however, sometimes Fun to try...
