Hair conversations, attempts to be hair-understanding and sympathetic, hair in the mornin' hair in the evenin' hair at suppertime...

	♥ 4:46pm StringOFperils: THIS was one of my fave records on the radio when it came out, but a guilty pleasure for some reason...undue pre-teen pressure-on-self....fear of associating with revolution-ack-my parents might find out!
	♥ 4:49pm coelacanth∅: i was already begging my parents to let me grow my hair long when this came out, and it was getting a little longer each school year. the whole family liked the song and it didn't help whatever feeble argument my parents had against mine & my brother's desire.
	♥ 4:50pm Gaylord Fields: @desert fox: I couldn't agree more! The Cowsills' version, despite the group's (ironically) clean-cut image, is to me the definitive version!

	♥ 4:53pm Gaylord Fields: @SOp: They were so much hipper than their label-mandated mild-drinking (and shilling) image. Also, I saw the Cowsills perform it ca. 1990, and I still count it as perhaps my favorite performance I've ever witnessed on a live stage. That is not an exaggeration or hyperbole.

	♥ 4:49pm coelacanth∅: i was already begging my parents to let me grow my hair long when this came out, and it was getting a little longer each school year. the whole family liked the song and it didn't help whatever feeble argument my parents had against mine & my brother's desire.

	♥ 4:53pm Gaylord Fields: @SOp: They were so much hipper than their label-mandated mild-drinking (and shilling) image. Also, I saw the Cowsills perform it ca. 1990, and I still count it as perhaps my favorite performance I've ever witnessed on a live stage. That is not an exaggeration or hyperbole.
