@Wild Neil: It's a duo (Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally of Baltimore), so I think it's mainly multi-tracking. Just indie rockers, really, but they do it well. Not quite the "tight" harmonies the BBs delivered (at least not live).

Scott: I loved your Gal Costa set last week, it was my soundtrack to horrendous rush hour traffic until WFMU signal faded out and I switched to Creamo's Debasement Tapes premium. @Wind: "Pah"/"Fah" is one of the original Semitic letters, but over time diff languages and dialects pronounce sounds differently, so that in modern Arabic, and the Egyptian variety of it, "P" sounds are now pronounced as "F".

The Hebrew letter "Pe" was that original "P" sound, but is mostly pronounced as "F" now. A dot is indicated on that letter to make it a "P" sound, and most Israelis are probably able to pronounce it.
