Going pretty trad this year: roast turkey, sourdough stuffing, yukon gold mashed, roasted brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, bread, apple pie. I'll do the brux the way a place near me used to, with fish sauce and maple syrup splashed on as they finish roasting.

BUT doing a Friendsgiving upstate on Saturday; will bring copious amounts of my heritage breed turkey. For myself it's just that; picking up some fresh greens and maybe some starchy edible tubers of some sort. Just took a liquor store delivery also, and grabbed a small pumpkin pie. Will try to get crusty bread tonight before the bakeries close unless they are swamped in which case I will brave the supermarket maybe really late tonight...
