my Dad had "Switched-on Bach" as well as that "Everything you ever wanted to hear on the Moog" LP. At the time I sort of lumped them together but I realize now how much more musical the Carlos recordings were, compared to the Kazdin/Shepard record which really just sounds like a novelty LP now.

My mom was in the hospital with me when JFK was assassinated. Two of my older sisters cut school and called my mom to tell her about the news. She was more focused on why they skipped school. My brother always remembered watching the funeral on TV when I came home with my mother. Coming from a large family, birthdays sometimes get mixed up and mine was often mistaken for the 22nd instead of the 21st. That's life.
