💖Hello Don! Hello Cheree! Hello chatroom Glisteners!!!
  3:03pm
Cheree July:

Heh Glisteners & Sparklers!🌟
Avatar 3:06pm
Debbie Davenport:

Such great lyrics.
  3:07pm
Kittimu:

hey everyone!
  3:08pm
Cheree July:

Debbie, I like the chorus better.
Avatar 3:09pm
Debbie Davenport:

Isn't the chorus part of the lyrics? That's my favorite part too.
Avatar 3:11pm
Debbie Davenport:

2025. We are almost in their future.
  3:11pm
Cheree July:

Maybe I meant the refrain?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

Hola!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

This song...
Avatar 3:12pm
Debbie Davenport:

I see what you mean Cheree. Like verse versus chorus.
  3:13pm
Kittimu:

It freaks me out that next year is 2023. Like, that's not a real year. That's a fake year people make up to describe a future where we all have flying cars or whatever.
  3:13pm
Cheree July:

I just said that to Don, Debbie.😄😆

Hola Becky! Kittimu! 💖
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:14pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

Deb!
  3:15pm
Kittimu:

Hey Debbie
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

Oh, wow. Who are those fantastic men surrounding Robin Gibb in the key art?
  3:25pm
Kittimu:

how's everyone doing today
Avatar 3:26pm
Debbie Davenport:

those two songs sound great next to each other. Don is king of that kind of thing!
  3:27pm
Cheree July:

I almost ran late because I almost left my phone on the bed.🙄😴
Avatar 3:27pm
Debbie Davenport:

Hey Kittimu, I'm doing good. Doing nerd things. Nothing exciting.
Avatar 3:29pm
Debbie Davenport:

I always leave my phone at home Cheree. Plugged into the wall.
I may of taken it with me once or twice, but probably not.
  3:30pm
Cheree July:

So do I, but on my bed tho.
  3:31pm
Kittimu:

I always forget to plug my phone in and leave the house with a totally dead phone in my pocket because at least it's useful if I can find a charger I guess
Avatar 3:32pm
Shineman:

Just think we can pull out the old phrase 23 Skidoi!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

Whee!

Brought to you by Spell Check
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

What did Greg say?!
  3:36pm
Cheree July:

I'm not sure. I'd have to ask Don.🤷‍♀️
Avatar 3:36pm
Shineman:

This is a hoot!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

Yeah. I'm digging it, too!
Avatar 3:38pm
Debbie Davenport:

It's what Don said at the beginning of the show. I think you may of missed that Becky. He said it was the best record of that year. somethiug like that.
Avatar 3:38pm
Debbie Davenport:

1973
  3:40pm
Cheree July:

What Don said was that Greg Shaw said was that Chicory Tip's Good Grief Christina was the best record of 1973 & it got him fired from either Crawdaddy or Creem.😤😠
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

Ha ha ha! That had to be Crawdaddy bc they were snobbier
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

Lester would have vouched for CT at Creem ; )

Thanks, Cheree
  3:42pm
Cheree July:

Becky, that's what I'm thinking too.
  3:48pm
BK:

Sounds like Terminal Love by the boys or they sound like Taxi
  3:49pm
Cheree July:

Don's playing my fave Hector song!🤩🙌🤘
  4:07pm
Cheree July:

Don, Sylvia, & I appear in the music video for this Astrologer song.
Avatar 4:08pm
Debbie Davenport:

This Astrologer song is awesome! I wish Astrologer was doing vinyl. I just don't know how to use the invisible formats. My son and daughter in law were working with me on that kind of stuff recently. I still think it's weird to have in a computer. LIke what if you need to get a new computer. do the codes transfer to the new one? stuff like that. I'm so hooked on vinyl.
Avatar 4:08pm
Debbie Davenport:

That's really cool Cheree!
  4:09pm
Cheree July:

I can't wait to see it!🤩
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:16pm
Becky Ebenkamp:

Deb, you can transfer everything on your computer to another computer. But it's wise to back everything up on a disc in case the computer gets stolen or goes kaput
Avatar 4:18pm
Debbie Davenport:

The kaput thing has happened in the past. That is part of why it doesn't seem real. I think I need to get more familiar with "backing up".
  4:20pm
Cheree July:

Good thinking💡
Avatar 4:20pm
Mr Fab:

Bubblegum army reporting for duty SIR!
  4:21pm
Cheree July:

Heh Mr. Fab!👋
Avatar 4:22pm
Mr Fab:

One of my favorite bizarro musical factoids is: the American Breed, the band that did the original version of “bend me shape me,“ went onto add singer Chaka Khan and change their name to Rufus. Crazy, eh?
  4:25pm
Cheree July:

Mr. Fab, since the American Breed & Chaka Khan are from Chicago, it's actually not that weird they'd go Funk.
Avatar 4:33pm
Mr Fab:

Biker rock!
  4:34pm
Cheree July:

Bonecruncher from Clutch!
Avatar 4:35pm

Avatar 4:38pm
Mr Fab:

Haha, Swiping David Seville‘s “witch doctor“ there. OOh, ah, ooh ah ah!
  4:40pm
Cheree July:

Mr. Fab, you must be psychic.🔮 I thought the exact same thing!😆
Avatar 4:43pm
Debbie Davenport:

I recently put in an order at Just Add Water records. (cheap postage too)! They have some good reissues of things like Hammersmith Gorillas. If anyone is looking.
  4:44pm
Cheree July:

WOW!😲
  4:49pm
Kittimu:

very long song title going on here
  4:51pm
Cheree July:

One of the longest song titles ever.
  4:52pm
Kittimu:

Omg, yesterday I was listening to jet fighter by the three o clock for the first time I can remember cause someone I was talking to had mentioned them, and I literally thought "this wouldn't sound too out of place in a glam playlist". It's like I can see the future.
  4:54pm
Cheree July:

Apologies for Don's earlier snafu. He turned the wrong thing down.
Avatar 4:57pm
Mr Fab:

One of the great mysteries of life is why the Three O’clock never had big hits
  4:59pm
Cheree July:

True, especially since they even ended up on Prince's Paisley Park record label, and that even wasn't enough.
Avatar 5:03pm
Debbie Davenport:

Already! This show always flies by.
Thank you Don! Thank you Cheree! Thanks for being groovy Sylvia!
Avatar 5:03pm
Mr Fab:

Thanks Don, I love your show AND your tiger feet!
