Also was thrilled to hear the Mr Bongo issuance of the previously unreleased Horace Tapscott Quintet material from 1969. It was a legendary session. Learning that there was unheard material was like learning I had a third lung.

Really enjoyed "Belly Dance Fever" and "Cameroun Garage Funk," both of which I believe I discovered on this and/or Doug's show. I probably recorded about 20 CDs of Prince live shows and studio jams off Youtube, and all were unique and inventive.

	9:30pm coelacanth∅: heh...i'm by no means a big Prince fan; nonetheless i made hard copies of every wfmu Prince tribute show because everyone was saying the archives might get removed by his estate. 13-14 maxed-out cds if i remember correctly. i will likely never listen to them. (and the archives were still up, last i checked)
	9:33pm Zipperhead7: Prince seems more of a synthesist than an innovator in many ways. but his bands were fantastic. I also discovered a good hiphop show that streams Fridays from 9 to 11 on KRSC in Tulsa -- I grab the playlists since it cpnflicts with Cratedigger's Lung. There's a lot of great hiphop that gets very little exposure
	9:38pm coelacanth∅: that's a good way to put it Zipperhead. i rarely listen to Prince that i'm not reminded of other artists. (hot chocolate; Curtis Mayfield; Jimi...) but yes a technically gifted and dedicated musician with good taste and great bands

Learning that there was unheard material was like learning I had a third lung.

Really enjoyed "Belly Dance Fever" and "Cameroun Garage Funk," both of which I believe I discovered on this and/or Doug's show. I probably recorded about 20 CDs of Prince live shows and studio jams off Youtube, and all were unique and inventive.

I also discovered a good hiphop show that streams Fridays from 9 to 11 on KRSC in Tulsa -- I grab the playlists since it cpnflicts with Cratedigger's Lung. There's a lot of great hiphop that gets very little exposure
