Big up Congos!, Lee Perry's Black Ark engineering and production magic, along with the Black Ark upsetter allstars! A true Roots masterpiece! Sadly, Chris Blackwell felt it was too heavily Roots oriented for Island to release it. Boris Gardiner's bass playing is wicked! Bless! Hey there Doug!! We were lucky that my mom cataloged her recipes with notecards then transferred to digital. Only thing she didn't write down was her Mexican rice. Still trying to get it right. Needs less water because the altitude in CDMX is so high they have to use more H2O in their recipes due to it evaporating faster. I'll get it one day.
