Gotta run, greatr show, thanks Bob!

Assuming neither Lil Green nor Ma Rainey sang it, Jorma's probably the first I heard the tune, too. Odd that I "heard" the females, though, while the Jelly Roll was playing.

Don't forget the Holy Modal Rounders' (typically bonkers) version, featuring allegedly the first recorded instance of "psychodelic."

Jorma's Hesitation Blues was inspired by Rev. Gary Davis

I only just learned that HMRs played it, Frank. Was poking around Discogs to find the ladies who sang it.

Hot Tuna is where I heard Hesitation Blues.

If you really want a chuckle, check out the Wikipedia page for the Doodletown Pipers. "The Simpsons" reference is priceless. Roger Miller's comment, too.

There are times at which one has no choice but to play “Jump Into the Fire.” Much appreciated, Bob.

After the FM radio success of "In the Court of the Crimson King," this little novelty with Greg Lake again handling the vocal, was a minor hit for a band that would never be known for "singles."
