So sorry to hear it, MOM! It seems to be random, pot luck as far as reactions to the vaccine. I got my second booster, nothing at all. One of my co-workers had fever about 103 and vomiting for about 3 days after her booster (and she was still glad she got it).
But hoping you feel well ASAP!!! Sending all my healing vibes out!

It's still worth getting it-there are many studies out there demonstrating really decreased chances of severe illness (and death) if you're vaccinated. There are also studies demonstrating much less Long Covid (which can happen even after mild cases of COVID) if you're vaccinated. So overall, it sucks, but it's worth it!

We all had COVID once (it seemed like forever because it staggered, first my younger daughter had it, ,then got better, then got one of those second courses of it, worse than the first. Then later my older daughter came home for a family wedding upstate, a day after she came home she started feeling ill, 4-5 days later my wife and I both came down with it. Up until that point we had managed to dodge it. I've read somewhere that it's not really whether one will catch it anymore, it's how many times...)
