New Years Eve, we went to a fancy-shmancy restaurant in Burbank where the clientele can keep their wine bottles in a locker for every time they visit, and i saw one for "the Zappas."

Wonder what they keep in their locker - Lumpy gravy? Yellow snow? The mind reels...

Wasn't Frank a teetotaler? Or was he just anti-drug?
Avatar 12:10pm
Mr Fab:

maybe so, but since it appeared to be for the family, who knows what the others are like. Who knows, shit might get crazy when MoonUnit starts hittin the sauce!

ha, i remember this one from "the Bells." Lou's weirdest attempt to sell out. It's not even really a disco song..?

They have two I think but they were soft as hell. One of the worst "legacy" acts I've ever seen

David Alan Coe takes the prize for the very worst though

New Sensations might be my favorite 'bad Lou' album. Maybe because it was the first Lou album I bought when it came out.

Yeah! I think it popped up on the yootoobs a couple of years ago. I should probably watch it again.

I for some reason always thought Simply Saucer were some 80s neo-psych band. I need to fully check them out.

incredibly, they formed in the early '70s. So ahead of their time that the album didn't come out til the late '80s.

everyone knew Surf Punks and Plasmatics were somewhat clueless posers, but there was something crassly entertaining about them. just couldn't tell your friends.
