Fits a fair amount of people, but also never feels empty if say… there are less than 150 people there. I know a lot of bands that have played there, but have never ventured up to see a show. I would do it again, and would totally play there if asked.

There were two reasons I remember: Water Street Music Hall for concerts (saw Billy Bragg there), and a great bar that had every beer in the world (it was the only place that had Thomas Hardy). There are more reasons to go to Troy now, including a great record store. Like a lot of Hudson River towns, it's benefited from the exodus of young people from NY City, for one thing.

He's one of those people who make it seem easy. Like, you hear what he's playing, and it sounds weird and complicated, but you watch his fingers and the effort he's exerting, and he makes it look easy. And as Michael said, there's the lack of the little meaningless mistakes that any player makes, including the great ones.

There are more reasons to go to Troy now, including a great record store. Like a lot of Hudson River towns, it's benefited from the exodus of young people from NY City, for one thing.
