On yesterday Krys O show she played audio from a BBC Bacharach special in 1970 that included Bacharach rehearsing a new song with Warwick that I found instructive. There was segment also of them reminiscing at the piano and doing a medley. He asks if she remembers a song that was among the initial demo's that he paid her 12.50 each for. She said she can't remember any song she was paid only 12.50 for. I don't know if the whole special can be found online, haven't looked.

Review: Very good.
I thought the live show was significantly better than the album, which is recorded in a kind of compressed way. Live, the different voices were clearer and were also improvising very freely. Anna Webber was the main (excellent) soloist, but Aurora Nealand was maybe the MVP, with extended vocals, keyboard, soprano and alto saxes. If you get a chance to hear the group live, I would recommend them.

...Quite what the Sauropod favored for Media in listening is still being debated. Much less their identity politics reagarding the Jazzes ...while research into the Theropod groove is yielding actually unexpected results. Vis a vis their notable presence in AntiSocial Media (they are - after all - Predators...)

Yep, more than a handful of references to WKCR.
My proud scholarship moment: I'm at the now defunct University Press Books in Berkeley waiting to meet up with a friend, where I note a new title from Duke University Press, a collection of contributions about music and improvisation. I scan the table of contents and then the bibliographic references, where I find listed a paper I wrote years before in law school! A professor of music at Cambridge U. used my paper, albeit critically, in his contribution!

Somebody maintains scans of old phone books online--maybe it's archive.org. I found the entry for the house in San Diego where my parents and I lived when I was born. The entry was under my mom's name.
Franco's tale proves print is better!
