It’s an aspect of relativity - thelder we get, the time is compressed, in a way, perceptually. A year becomes a smaller percentage of the totality of you life, so each year seems shorter than the last. I kind of Doppler Effect, I guess. Relative to the position of the perceiver.

This Pierre Henry lp is really great - but there’s so Much silence between sounds that all you can hear on my copy is crazy surface noise. Gotta get some of these musiquw concrete lps on CD cuz of that.

I’m doing some liner notes for a Double D and Steubsky box set. Gonna try to make a little history of Musique Concrete and all that it spawned, like all the pop applications of the techniques first done (arguably, I guess) by Pierre Scaedder, Pierre Henry, etc. Culminating in all the rap and Hip Hop and finally the Bran Flakes
