What a powerhouse of talent came together to honor Ronnie Lane who, having been ravaged by MS, could not walk by then. He was carried out onto the stage. He sang "Long Gone." There was not a dry eye in the room by the end. Very sad! But, it brought awareness to that horrible autoimmune condition which wasn't well known of back then. Of course, that was the intention.
