Jill Kroesen:

Hi Leo, Your dinner sounds great!!
ERIK / VermonT:

It could just be my app stream …. But fyi : I’m pretty sure you have a periodic distortion issue (cable connection?)
Notably via the Langston Hughes trax & Lizzie Mercier
& the one prior to Patti Smith.

Hey Jill, George, Cheryl, Rich and everyone else. Happy International Women’s Day. Let’s burn up the stream✊️

Hi Erik thanks for clarifying. Hopefully we fixed that now
ERIK / VermonT:

I know what y’all are sayin abt Blondie !
I am very envious that you recently saw them live.
I was blown away by how incredible and kick-ass Debbie & Chris & especially the brilliant drummer Clem still are !
Watched a 2017 (?) concert outta a Berlin club … powerful stuff. Debbie’s voice & energy in wonderful form. I believe it was around the great Pollinator album tour.

heck yeah! Mrs Fab and I have seen Blondie live a few times, and we saw Debbie n Chris in conversation promoting their respective books. ya gotta get her memoirs "Face It." Fascinating.

Mr Fab:

↳ Song: "Shake Your Ashes" by "Cherry Vanilla"
as a publicist, Cherry Vanilla said she would give, er, oral gratification to any DJ who played Bowie. Her book of memoirs gets a bit coy as to whether she actually went thru with it or not.
George Wallace:

Thanx for hair in the wind shout out. Yes NYC has, good reprentation in this project. You can see my video contribution at Poetrbay Productions. The videos ARE IN. An installation making the rounds in Northern Italy, my appearance in May at thePiacenza biennale is in support of that. Antje Stein, bravo!
ERIK / VermonT:

Oh, thanks for that ‘East Village Eye’ tip.
I recently rediscovered my passion for another innovative & iconic female groundbreaker: Genya Ravan,
(aka Goldie Zelkowitz / Goldie & the Gingerbreads / &
Ten Wheel Drive !!!). Some great documentary footage on youtubes.
Random Bowie related connection:
I was recently amazed that I hadn’t ever heard or listened to Dana Gillespie early career (1968-1974).
An excellent 2019 compilation out on her peak work.

Hey Erik, I was THRILLED to find that website east-village-eye.com
