By the magic of radio, I see you both dressed in bunny costumes now. Brian's is pink. Fox's is hivis green. I know Fox would prefer black, but that's not what I'm seeing.
This year is the 21st time I decided to drop the booze during Lent. Decided to up the ante this year and try to go vegan too. All bets off tomorrow for my birthday though.
Fred, I did, just to be on the safe side, rescheduled for June. But since I'd been well and the isolationn period was over, I went to the gig but with an FFP2 mask. One of the replacements, a guy who did interesting things with saz and electronics, will probably join us on the new date of 17.6.
Aunt Cookie did junk back in the day. RIP. And so did my friend Mike P. He described the sensation as “like being cradled in your mother’s arms” which is the only time anyone’s ever made it sound appealing to me, but unless I’m ever terminally ill, I’m staying the fuck away from it.
it is a narcotic. the nurse shot me up in the butt while singing some sort of chinese lullaby and a wave of euphoria swept over me from my toes up to my head. they only gave me that one shot maybe because i expressed how much i liked it.
I had alternating shots of demarol and morphine when I was in the ICU after being hit by a car when I was 14, but I was in no position to see whether it was pleasant. Later I had some demarol after my impacted wisdom teeth were cut out, and I hated it, just felt shaky and unable to control my muscles. Also hated the codeine they gave me after my knee replacement and quickly changed to naproxene and week after a week or two. I guess that might mean opioids aren't my thing.
If he hasn't sold them all, probably. I bought it when he was in Tampere, which was 4 or 5 years ago when we opened for him, and quite enjoyed reading it.
I was supposed to get opioids after heart surgery, but because it's a controlled substance there had to be a cop in charge of the supply, and because it was a holiday he wasn't around, so I got weaned early
A month ago I got codeine for a sciatica and started bleeding from my nose and ears. No opioids for me
my mother was recently in the hospital for a broken hip and was put on morphine after surgery. she got into a physical altercation with a nurse which involved some pinching and slapping. she thought she was dreaming it.
