Discreet silence understood. What a time to be at Columbia!

Dewey was (alas, he died in early '20, pre-lockdown, I believe) an engineer with Columbia et al. He worked on the live Weather Report 8:30 album, some EW&F, and significantly on Little Feat's astonishing live album, for which he helped Lowell George overdub some solos. Had a stereo store in town near where I live. Warren was a fun, sweet guy.

Those were the days at Tower, weren't they, doc?

Regarding the comment made about O. Keepnews and "far out" sessions, the Bartz and Joe Henderson albums on Milestone were pretty "far out" as well as lovely.

I'll be back as usual next Monday at noon, followed by the debut of Wendy del Formaggio's "Wreck Your Own Adventure" at 3pm.

Thanks again!
