In fact in my understanding at least, he invented the album as something more than just a compilation of singles by curating them as songs around a mood. So if he invented the album he invented the concept album at the same time. Only The Lonely, In The Wee Small Hours, Come Fly With Me etc etc etc.

What a great collection! Especially from the new John Dunbar’s album, The Other Women… I love this album immensely. I wouldn’t even change the order of the songs - it grabs your attention and keeps it on from the very first one to the very last. It’s like a great collection of 10 little stories with superb music that makes you want to hear it over and over, - one song after another, in this exact order, - and it will never bore you: neither lyrically nor musically. Bravo, John!!!

Sheena thinks Punk’s too dumb and folk is way too simple for her taste
All of those arena bands sounding all the same is such a waste
