Hey medson. I'm all SXSW'd out! Had a blast. Saw Civic 3 times and Death Valley Girls twice, Os Mutantes, Muck & The Mires, The Courettes, and some others - can't remember names! Haha! Civic played 12 shows in 4 days at SXSW! I'm thinking they may hold the record for playing the most shows! They killed it and especially the last show Saturday night at Valhalla, the last one!

Oh, I also saw Dana Gillespie at Antone's Records. She was great and her band. They did mostly bluesy stuff, but she did do Andy Warhol song Bowie wrote for her back in the day. Super cool lady. Great setting to see her, too - super small. I love seeing shows at that record store!

Wow, Jamie! That's cool to know! They seemed super cool as people, too. The singer was funny. At the day show that we saw them at on Saturday, Far Out Lounge, my friend's boyfriend had a white jacket on with taranchula print all over it. After one song he shouts out to him and points "I like your coat. It's fresh!". We were cracking up
