I wish Massive Attack would continue making full length albums. I really loved em - Especially the last 3.
Gof4 : when “Solid Gold” came out, we all assumed it wouldn’t hold a candle to their brilliant debut “entertainment” (or even the great follow up yellow ep)
- yet, it kicked our ass even harder. I actually preferred the clean clear hard edged crystal chunk production.
Love how singing “paralyzed” sounds like “paradise”. And then they went & blew our minds even more with the “To Hell w/Poverty” 12” Ep !
- those were the days my friends, I thought they’d never end … (ps: I’m old !) hahaha 😝 😛 🤪

Suffice to say, the album thrilled me. I thought I’d found my band ! The herky jerky dynamics perfectly suited my budding drumming obsessions. Further cemented by my co-fave XTC “Black Sea” album. I collected em all after that. They seemed to fade a bit after the playful stint with Dukes of Stratosphere. I was also way into my import copy of the bizarre fractured dub-redux mixings of Andy’s solo “The Lure of Salvage” !
Have you listened to that much ? - very innovative !
What’s your favorite XTC albums ?

MDMA and LSD are amazing at killing tics.
Brian D:
Fox:
And it does help suppress the tics.
But it doesn't work when he'd smoke American Spirits. It's not the tobacco. It's whatever creepy shit they put in American cigarettes!
