Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

I hear ya...I used to do shows on Sound Cloud and it was tough to get any kind of promotion to build an audience. However, I was able to use those shows as an audition for getting this show on WFMU so sometimes it just takes a while to find the right venue.

I gave the same setup to a nephew, but sort of wish it was still around...problematic tonearm but when set up properly with the Shure V-15 III on it, it sounded really good

The biggest problem I had with AR turntables is they are belt drive. When the belt gets old and loosens up the platter vibrates and you get massive flutter with it. Finding the right replacement belt is difficult as well.
