Order but no rules. Madness but crafted. Curated chaos is the spot for genre blending, jumping, and changing it up. Covering all areas from fresh indie pop to moody shoegaze tracks and back again to classic country. For all those that find borders and limits suffocating.

In a lot of the things I put up here, I wrote about this being an otherworldly time of day, and that when younger, I approached it from an evening spent enjoying the night. Now, as a school librarian (at lovely Lowell High School, alumi of Jack Kerouac), I have a long commute, and like to write in the morning...hence my being awake right now.
Anyway, one of my comments to Dan involved discussing this meeting time between night and day, when one person's day is just about over, while another's is just beginning. Vampires and bakers. Night security people and folks such as I. You get the idea.
Anyway, this is show is really carrying on Dan's tradition of putting me in a great "hey, it's Friday" feeling. It's wonderful having you take us through these hours.
Best of success to you, pal!

Look, as a Gen Xer, there's one thing we can relate to that Boomers really can't: we know what it feels like to face world where you don't have as much as the previous generation in the area of affordable housing, education, and healthcare.
During the 1980s, though rents may seem tame by today's standards, they shot up about 300 percent. This was the beginning of the conservative wave brought on by Reagan, and suddenly, apartments became impossible to afford.
Back in the 1960s, so they tell me, a person could literally drive a cab or tend bar and afford a halfway decent studio.
And man, the trials we suffered in that area--watching college costs skyrocket as well--I just look at you guys, and say...we're so, so worry for Young Republicans, Brett Cavanaugh...aw, man, the list goes on.
Stay strong. Honest, there are folks out there who understand what you folks are going through.

It’s lazy thinking and an easy way to sell us ideas and other stuff we don’t need.
Also a convenient way to divide and control us.
It’s not for me.

It's trite, I know. It's simplistic.
C'mon. It's true. There is a such a glut of wealth at the top of the food chain.
I buy books for my students out of my own pocket. Jeff Bezos has a 500 million dollar yacht. And there are many, many more like him than it seems there were when I was growing up, or when anyone was growing up.
And for each one of them who now, through generous tax breaks, can afford a half million dollar yacht, there are millions who can't afford to have a steak dinner.
Honest, I don't get political, and I will stop now. My previous post, looking back, is one that some could take as an "anti-boomer" post. Honest, I don't want to bad mouth anyone.
Okay, I will badmouth the insanely rich. So many of them just seem odious.
And oh...I really, really love the music, and the vibe. I love the mix of old and new.

As Is the jaw-dropping film. Have you seen it ?
Not for everyone, especially these ever transformative changing days ! Gallo & Ricci made an indelible film together. One for a time capsule, Which would confuse whomever found it.
