Like most people, we had started reading George Saunders short stories in The New Yorker. We were smitten. Someplace in this trash heap is a copy of Gappers autographed by George Saunders and Lane Smith, the artist who illustrated the book.

Like most people, we had started reading George Saunders short stories in The New Yorker. We were smitten. Someplace in this trash heap is a copy of Gappers autographed by George Saunders and Lane Smith, the artist who illustrated the book.
