Ambient, transient, poppy, sloppy, danceable, romanceable, and Italians rapping in English with laser noises. Don't be sad because here comes the sun.

"Decasia" is an experimental film in which the director, Bill Morrison, compiled a number of clips of film stock in various stages of decay (hence the title).
The score is a haunting, pulsing, at times harsh wave of sound that makes the film a sort of fever dream.
It's a lot like Warhol's films, in that many folks watch pieces of the film without having seen the whole thing (for me, it's a trail to sit through the whole thing, while at the same time, there are pieces that I find mesmerizing).
If you go to YouTube and search for "Decasia," you'll find excerpts, which honestly are more than enough for you to get the feel of what the film is.
Hope you enjoy it, and that I can feel as if I've "returned the favor" for the new music you've exposed me to. Thanks!
