Good afternoon! I listened to plenty of Tull as a kid. Loved this album.

Did Tull ever release a bad album? If so, I've never heard it

Rather than do the work pending for my paying job, spent a few minutes looking up why May Day, or actually mayday is a call of distress:
" "mayday", the phonetic equivalent of the French m'aidez ("help me") "
en.wikipedia.org...
Wherein I also learned of the less urgent call for help: "pan-pan"

Regarding Ian Anderson and the band Jethro Tull. Aqualung was the last album I got (I think I did..), Thick as a Brick I heard, didn't have interest enough to spend any time with the others. No judgement of good or bad, matter of personal taste.

I'm going to start using "pan-pan"

I subscribed to Cat Fancy magazine in the 90s and they had a feature on Ian and his love of cats especially Bengals.

In fact I considered playing 'Moths' next hour, but again there was an abundance of material within the theme I chose, so ...

Its been a manic monday (as someone once sang) but this has been a weird and wonderful show.

Now an entire show that's just one long intermission would be sumthin...

Jethro Tull made their American debut at the Newport '69 festival held at my alma mater Cal State Northridge.

Apropos of nothing, just felt like bragging.
