I dooo… and did for 14 years that I had it. My house sitter who was being paid handsomely to take care of my cat(very little work required) decided to “borrow” it without asking my permission and left it in front of the sketchy hotel he works out. Needless to say I’ve fired him. But yea. Whatever you say about me… please don’t say I don’t lock my bike up lol.

Yea I think if you don’t lock up your bike you’re basically just admitting/accepting that it’s public property and you’re just borrowing yourself until such time as anyone else decides they want it. Which while very Zen is also kinda dumb cause y’know… bikes are useful. But hey if it works. When I was in Sweden when I was a kid there were just hundreds of bikes in front of the train station mostly unlocked… people would just take em leave em whatever I guess. Bike abundance.
