One thinks so much of how Tina with JamesBrown completely transformed the Stage Presentation of white Rawkers
...but hearing so much of her since her passing - now I'm struck by the power, range & expression of her Voice. Yerknow ? & reportedly Ike did think of Little Richard (another Human SuperNova) when Writing for her...
She gives Every Single Note her Full Wattage...

Y'know, after hearing Zappa on tracks like this & "Montana", I'm being led to believe En Esch of KMFDM probably took some inspiration from him, a notio that is further reinforced by the fact that KMFDM started as a jazz ensemble.

Ringo always cites 'Rain' as his Best Drumming.
They did of course play it faster to be slowed down. *As a band* - impersonating a record played too fast to perform it...

George Martin reportedly took a snippet of Lennon's vocal from the rest of the song & reversed it for the ending.
