Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

...Also - in the movies - there was some tradition of when you needed a crowd to murmur - everybody said 'rhubarb' ...which TheGoons would make reference to on occasion...

en.wikipedia.org...
- were a bit more, how would you say, nondescript ? Setting into a more set CountryRawk style, to one degree or another. When once they were a famously innovative & always morphing band. Yet - the Players were always notable. & seems like there were alway one or two indispensable gems on every collection...
Then 1973's disappointing Reunion of the Original Five was the Last (for official 'BYrdS' anyhow...)

- TheWho would stall out a bit as Innovators into the 1970s with Townshend not being able to top Tommy - but becoming a Live Juggernaut instead...
Thinking in terms of those 1960s bands whose every Album was some new innovative Statement in the advance guard...
Dylan had his Second Major Peak early 70s in that Watergate ~ End of Nam ~ Divorce Period. Advancing the cinematic gravitas of the field - but no one could compare to his mid1960s revolutions...

I've had to do my weird looking exercises again. I think my move and hauling furniture myself has done me in again but I seem to be on the mend.
Hopefully you get your sorted soon too!
