People are badly-behaved, selfish, unfair and dishonest. They're cunning and deceptive, and they've even evolved systems of forgiving themselves the things they do to others (with considerable satisfaction) that they'd never want done to themselves. You don't want to get into the cage with them; it's high-risk. Once you've accepted these unavoidable obvious conditions, and stop fighting with all the false-expectations of fairness or intelligibility that you've been fed by these very same people, because they plainly don't jibe with what you're seeing and experiencing every day, then it becomes easier to find inner peace....somehow. Don't ask me how. I have no idea. Those bastards. They're destroying everything. Okay. Now put on your happy face and enjoy the pantomime called reality. Welcome.

People in vehicles like to buzz me when I'm on my bicycle, every now and then. Obviously getting to within an inch of my handlebars while jamming it up into third gear and accelerating loudly. What happened to good old masturbation? Wasn't imaginary mastery of the situation in the comfort of one's own home good enough? That kind of stuff in public is just pathetic and, frankly, embarrassing.

Yikes!! On my one block street, 25 is almost too fast. People use it as a cut-through between two larger streets, so as to avoid waiting, what, 30 or 45 seconds at a traffic light. These buffoons can hit 40 mph while doing this.

Therese pointed out that it would've been Prince's 65th birthday the other day. 💜

That’s quite a screech Prince has.

Sort of an ‘electrodes attached to my testicles’-level screech.

I'd adopt them all if I could...Our four kitties might object, though.

@TDK60: re that Peter Gabriel “security”/4th album = I concur that the overall audio sound with that album was so unique and different at that moment. I have it linked with Kate Bush’s “The Dreaming” album from the same month and year (Sept 1982 !). I believe both those albums utilize the new at the time Synclavier keyboard.
Regardless, imo, both those albums still sound unique and special.

Mornin' Erik/VT: Yeah, such new edgy sounds both Peter and Kate had then. I think Peter also had use of a then-newish synthesizer called the Fairlight. He also had ace bassist Tony Levin who also used a Stick.

Ooops - intended to send this to you earlier. Yes…FAIRLIGHT keyboards ! (I get the fairlight & synclavier mixed up in my listening sound palette) haha.
As they were both new & heavily adapted to the recording market at the same timeframe. Good call & thanks for the chat !
