  4:15pm
Chris Ianuzzi:

↳ Mike Rogers @4:14
Both
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:15pm
Jan Turkenburg:

o greet someone politely in Japanese, you can use the phrase "Konnichiwa" (こんにちは), which translates to "Hello" or "Good day." This is a common greeting used throughout the day. It is appropriate for both formal and informal situations.

If you want to be even more polite or formal, you can use "Konnichiwa gozaimasu" (こんにちは ございます). The addition of "gozaimasu" adds a level of politeness to the greeting.

Additionally, when greeting someone in the morning, you can use "Ohayō gozaimasu" (おはよう ございます), which means "Good morning" and is considered polite.

When greeting someone in the evening or night, you can use "Konbanwa" (こんばんは), which means "Good evening." This is commonly used as a polite greeting in the evening.

Remember that Japanese etiquette places a high value on politeness and respect, so using these greetings appropriately will help create a positive impression when interacting with Japanese speakers.

Avatar 4:18pm
Mike Rogers:

↳ Chris Ianuzzi @4:17
But that is right!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18pm
Jan Turkenburg:

While I'm here to assist, I must emphasize that using insults or derogatory language is discouraged and goes against promoting respectful communication. It's important to treat others with kindness and respect.

However, for educational purposes, I can provide you with the translations of a few insults in Japanese. Please remember not to use them in real-life situations:

Baka (馬鹿): This is a common insult that means "fool" or "idiot."
Aho (アホ): It is an insult similar to calling someone a "moron" or "stupid."
Kusottare (くそったれ): This is a stronger insult that roughly translates to "damn bastard" or "piece of shit."
Chikushō (畜生): It is an offensive term equivalent to "damn" or "son of a bitch."
Again, it's crucial to promote positivity and respectful communication when interacting with others.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25pm
Jan Turkenburg:

The phrase "bim bam boom" does not have a direct translation or meaning in Japanese. It appears to be an onomatopoeic expression in English, representing the sound of something happening quickly or with a sudden impact. Onomatopoeia, or words that imitate sounds, vary across languages, and there may not always be direct equivalents in other languages. Japanese, in particular, has a rich variety of onomatopoeic words called "giongo" and "gitaigo" to describe different sounds and actions. If you're looking for a similar expression in Japanese, you might consider using appropriate onomatopoeic words based on the specific context or sound you wish to convey.
Avatar 4:26pm
Mike Rogers:

↳ Jan Turkenburg @4:24
But, your explanation about rules of translation finally makes sense to me, Jan san! THAT'S Why, it will translate, "You should die into" ""you are a cool dude!"

So, maybe 38 some years ago... I was with two really pretty girls that I worked with on a TV show. We go to the Hard Rock Cafe, was it? We walked up the stairs and there's this huge assed Navy guy at the top of the stairs and he says, "Do you want to sleep with me tonight?" To the two girls (well, his pronunciation wasn't so good but I thought that's what he said). The girls were shocked. And they both looked at me, I said, "Excuse me?" to them guy, And he towered over me and screamed (kind of like Clint Easton would say, gritted his teeth, and growled, "I'm not talking to you boy!" I just melted down the stairs and avoided getting my ass kick and we left.

He says, "You heard me. Would you like your ass kicked right here and now?"
I squeaked, "No. Thank you!" He just waved his hands in frstration and walked away.... About 5 minutes later at another table across the room, there was a sudden commotion, and fists were flying and table getting knocked over. I guess, someone too "Mr. Friendly" up on his offer. Right up my alley so to speak.

5am is early. I should start all my shows with relaxing waves for the first hour for my pals over and down up and under. Second hour, sound of Jaws approaching. Third hour merzbow.

Hey tell me about it! To clear my head I have to wake up at least two hours early. Have a ton of coffee! But, in the good news, my work is usually done before my wife wakes up at 11:30

A lot like Journey in a parallel universe where all lyrics are dirty but both bands wear tight clothing on stage.
