That's Neal's most famous song. I wonder what the dubbed German voices of Oscar and Felix sound like. I used to watch Love Boat when I was a student briefly in Paris in 1981. Voices did not resemble the original actors at all.

Handy Haversack:

Hi, Krys. I dunno. I guess we're still getting one foot in front of the other, for what it's worth.

Is Cut Worms kind of a one-person-focused endeavor? Like Reds, Pinks, and Purples? Or a full-on collective band?

I have been nominated to do the lunch dishes so K8 can start getting ready for her gig. A vast anti-Handy conspiracy.

Definitely need to pick this up for K8.

In other records from nineties icons news, we picked up The Lion and the Cobra in New Paltz last week and used it as the inaugural record to see if the turntable was really fixed, and it sounds unbelievably great. Crappy. Most studios were closed, and few students were around (in part because of the local unrest, according to a teacher). Worse, the bar was closed yet advertising cheap prices (1€ a shot, 2 for beer).
Still had a nice conversation about frescoes and an even nicer one about sculpture and decay, and the art school/world/market with a young student. She might not even be 20 but she's very mature about a lot. Maybe I should have asked her name, but I don't do that

There are four locations of fireworks displays near me, not counting the people who set them off on their own illegally. Not really, but I wasn't clear about what we talked about. Our conversation was not about long term decay, but how she used decay in her sculpture, using materials that sag or bend in a matter of days or even hours, that process being an integral part of her work. But controlled somewhat precisely, but not exactly, the gap being part of her work as well
