I never got to see Jehu first go round, but saw Hot Snakes 5-7 times. I remember once at Bowery when at a Hot Snakes show they played the opening riffs from Bullet Train to Vegas and it was such a tease. Then at a later show they did play Luau. I also saw Obits open for The Night Marchers. I finally got to see Jehu during the reunion run a few years ago at Irving. So great. At that point As I looked around the show I realized they were modern “Dad Rock” lol….

I did, however, live in LA for 37 years and heard a helluva lot of radio there. Including FLO and EDDIE'S Saturday night show on KROQ in 1974-75 No words can describe the bizarre zaniness those two created over a couple of hours. Riveting radio, for sure. They would rarely let a record play all the way through and their between-song banter was beyond anything on the air at that time. I do remember they used to play a lot of 10 CC.

I never got to see Jehu first go round, but saw Hot Snakes 5-7 times. I remember once at Bowery when at a Hot Snakes show they played the opening riffs from Bullet Train to Vegas and it was such a tease. Then at a later show they did play Luau. I also saw Obits open for The Night Marchers. I finally got to see Jehu during the reunion run a few years ago at Irving. So great. At that point As I looked around the show I realized they were modern “Dad Rock” lol….

I did, however, live in LA for 37 years and heard a helluva lot of radio there. Including FLO and EDDIE'S Saturday night show on KROQ in 1974-75 No words can describe the bizarre zaniness those two created over a couple of hours. Riveting radio, for sure. They would rarely let a record play all the way through and their between-song banter was beyond anything on the air at that time. I do remember they used to play a lot of 10 CC.
