is that the mexican folk group los panchos? if so, a friend of ours in dallas used to do a weekly dj show on mixlr. she played a lot of post-punk and darkwave stuff, but every show ended with a traditional mexican tune from los panchos. she's from mexico... great stuff, esp as a cherry on top of an hour of post-punk.

I got to see Tame Impala at Neumos, a smaller venue in Seattle in one of their 1st shows in the US ever. They were so good and so psyched to be there! Everyone in the band played barefoot except the drummer. Haha - Straight outta' Perth!
