An underground journey through the history of psychedelic rock, modern music, shimmering noise, free jazz, punk, funk, children's records played at the wrong speed, tape cut-up, static, the composition of decomposition, and subversive spoken word.

Always mention the film 'How The Beatles Rocked The Kremlin' as a great pocket history of the Musics behind the Iron Curtain in that era :
www.dailymotion.com...
- when just getting the Musics was as complicated as getting the Drugs over here - or worse. @ the end of that - they show how the Government eventually decided to just get in on the act - & start manufacturing their own iterations of the Musics...
I wonder if it might make a good double bill with the Blood, Sweat & Tears doc that FMU recently featured - as that band was among the first Western Rock bands to play over there - & got schiz from both ends politically for it...

for clarification of the audience, 577 records the record label, not 577 records w/ William Parker (although I'd pay for every which one of those if they existed)

since, they were just a small piece of the art movement, w/ a revolving casts of poets, playwrights, artists, etc, putting together multi-media performances (most members were talented in many disciplines)

LAU NAU! (awesome finnish free folk sounscapes) (album title means 'in the garden")

Yeah I wonder what materials of record exist exactly - much less collating them. Probly a huge research undertaking, maybe nigh impossible ...tho I suppose many witnesses must be extant ...I'd watch it anyhow.
