On my commute to work I listen to the air signal which gets sketchy going up the mountain in Verona on Bloomfield Avenue. That's very odd because the WFMU transmitter is less than a mile away. The CT station interferes on many days right at the intersection of Bloomfield and Pompton Avenues.

Fast forward to the 1960s and my dad and I listening to shortwave radio from around the glove. I loved spinning the dial and watching the glowing light. The radio has a light! By the way, my dad listened to WFMU too in the 80s.

On my commute to work I listen to the air signal which gets sketchy going up the mountain in Verona on Bloomfield Avenue. That's very odd because the WFMU transmitter is less than a mile away. The CT station interferes on many days right at the intersection of Bloomfield and Pompton Avenues.
