I've got a guitar I was told was past repairing about twenty years ago, and I can't bear to part with it. Old 3/4 size Yamaha acoustic. Most people who pick it up and play on it are amazed by the warm tone. But its intonation is so bad, it's almost impossible to keep it in tune.

Hi Olivia!!!

R. Ring is Kelley Deal and my dear college friend Mike Montgomery. Mike was/is in Ampline, and produces a bunch of music in his studio, including recent Breeders albums.

Cool! Ampline is a really fun band, I got a 45 of theirs around here somewhere. Love hearing Dayton related bands on WFMU. ♥️

And great set today Olivia! It's helping me process the fact that my cat Zuma is now technically a senior cat as the vet told me today. They grow up so fast...

For some reason, it doesn’t touch me at all when most musicians die so I wondered if I was just a little cold or hardened or what. But Mimi of Low… that really hurt. A lot.
