All of the episodes during this run are 20 - 25 minutes long. That's just how long they were during that run.

In the Dimension X run, the shows were closer to 28, sometimes 30 minutes. Stupid ads!

Hey, come to think of it, doesn't this guitar remind you of Devo's Bob?
Avatar 11:13pm
AI Robot:

Was it Bob 1 or Bob 2?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31pm
Aitch:

No sure which Bob was 1 or 2.
Both Mark M and Gerald V had Bob brothers in the band.
I think Bob 1 was Bob V
Avatar 11:32pm
AI Robot:

Yeah. I thought there actually wasn't a Bob 2 and they were mind fucking with us!

Greetings, humanoids!

There was also a "Bob Zero." he introduced the concept of Devolution to the band, and co-wrote some of their early stuff, like "Be Stiff." he was kinda made a non-person after a falling out.
Avatar 11:37pm
AI Robot:

Did he have a jersey with the number "Zero"? Mr. Fab?

Today's playlist is more "Pop" than usual. Also I can't figure out how to stop this noise from occurring. it Doesn't happen on my other shows.

I don't know of you guys can hear it (or it doesn't bother you) but the system seems to skip a lot... Or am I imagining things?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:53pm
Aitch:

I find a hard reload of the player helps if the stream starts crackling. It quite often happens on the streams. Also quite often the playlist side of the page doesn't update even though the chat side does without the occasional reload. So often I don't know what song is playing
Avatar 11:57pm
AI Robot:

↳ Aitch @11:53
That's a good idea. I just read th users instructions and it says my system is old and to update it... So I will try that for next week.

↳ AI Robot @11:48
Considering the distances involved I'm surprised it works at all.
Avatar 12:01am
AI Robot:

Yeah, That's true. I am even using a ethernet and even with that sometimes things are dodgy.
Avatar 12:03am

But there is a typhoon now so that might be causing this... Whenever there is a typhoon things get really funky!

↳ Song: "Def Con One" by "Pop Will Eat Itself"
Saw PWEI was back when and the singer had a broken leg from leaping about and falling off the stage, good loud gig anyway

Actually, typhoons in Japan in August are very rare... Extremely rare. This is our third one already!!!

There was one that was hanging around near you for weeks, not welcome, like a fart in a spacesuit.

Yeah, my son and I had plans to go fishing three times and three times because of Typhoons we had to cancel!!!!
Avatar 12:24am
Mike Rogers:

In Japan (or anywhere in Asia, I suppose) going into the mountains to fish when a Typhoon comes is a good way to die several miles downstream.

I've got a couple of their albums, CDs, hadn't heard it for ages.
Here people fish of the coastal rocks/headlands and drown that way. Very common in Sydney.
Avatar 12:29am
Mike Rogers:

Yeah, no t so common in Japan. Why? Because the local fishing collectives own all the good fishing spots and if they catch you fishing in their areas, they'll kick your ass. No kidding.
Avatar 12:30am
Mike Rogers:

I don't think the fishing collectives give a rats ass about little trout fishing rivers (that become raging floods during typhoons!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31am

↳ Song: "Homewerk" by "Luke Vibert"

Heaps of fish here, plenty of rocks, but also occasional extra big wave comes through and takes a few into the water. No lifejacket because they're poor or just stupid, then they get washed up against the rocks and either get all messed up or drown.
Avatar 12:36am
Mike Rogers:

↳ Aitch @12:34
Really? That sounds horrible! Wow! I didn't know that!!!! I love ocean fishing from the rocks or beach (but not in Japan!)
