I saw them doing this supporting Oasis at an local Ice Rink. Oasis had cancelled this date when the Gallaghers had a falling out. They then released Wonderwall and became the biggest band in Britain. Even though they could now sell out stadiums they honoured the cancelled date. OCS would have a massive hit with this not long after.

↳ Song: "Wake Up Boo!" by "The Boo Radleys"
Sice , the singer of the Boo Radleys, is doing one man show around the UK I've seen clips. It looks great He reads angry letters to the music magazines with people complaining how unattractive the band was. He's seem very self deprecating and funny.

Hey Don - missed the Groovies... working Preservation Hall at SFJAZZ... made it to the Clientele at the Chapel and they were really really great!!! Alisdair is one super underated guitar player!!

Cast does the theme song of Peep Show, a lot people discovered the show from Netflix, so they might love Cast without realizing it.

They were definitley meant to cover this song
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm

How long did Britpop last? I went from wearing an Oasis t-shirt feeling like I was part of an exclusive gang to being a bit embarrassed to say that I liked them in about ... two years?

It’s an interesting comment from Ed. They were adored in the UK and Ireland. Noel Gallagher compared Cast gigs to a religious experience.

Ed’s right: what a bloody awful label. But I still say it was a great era with great music. Music that brought people together. Me and my friend would listen with our parents, moving from Oasis and Supergrass to the Stones and Kinks. Uniquely cross-generational music.
