He’s given me so much lost wonderment over the years.
At the end of his career (circa Atlantic City vintage) I spotted him as I past him walking by the Frick museum with a much younger woman snuggly arm in arm - my eyes popped & jaw dropped a little - and all he did was wink at me ! - F-ing incredible star 🌟 spotting moment.

It was screened at the Film Forum years ago, followed by a short behind-the-scenes documentary that showed blooper scenes and Charles Laughton’s difficulty in directing the little girl. The movie bombed and Laughton never directed another!
Typical for that theater, audience members cackled throughout for no reason. A friend of mine could take no more. She complained to the staff (the cacklers maintained they were blameless) and resigned her FF membership.

I worry about seeing older films with an audience for that reason, though there is some humor:"When you've been married to a man for forty years you know all that don't amount to a hill of beans. I've been married to Walt that long and I swear in all that time I just lie there thinkin' about my canning." To prep friends who have never seen it I describe Night Of The Hunter as a fairy tale and Mitchum is the Big Bad Wolf.

Tom Sciola’s graphic novel “Jack Kirby: The Epic Life of the King of Comics” portrays Stan Lee unfavorably.
In the interest of fairness, another side of the story will be told in Scioli’s next book: “I Am Stan: A Graphic Biography of the Legendary Stan Lee”.

Definitely go to his webpage “<quality-schnallity.com>” for copious amounts of his audio arts ! Loads of choices and alot of bizarre horror mashups ta boot !

Speaking of pipe organs (sorry, but listening to and posting on two simultaneous live radio programs puts me way behind in the comments), I occasionally attend silent film screenings live-scored by this outfit: gstos.org.
If I feel like venturing west on September 28 (the day before Silent Movie Day), I might see Clara Bow’s “It” scored by Ben Model at the Ambler Theater (108 E Butler Ave, Ambler, PA).

In Nixon apologists Len Colodny and Robert Gettlin’s nutso book “Silent Coup: The Removal of a President” (championed by G. Gordon Liddy), Alexander Haig was theorized to be Deep Throat. They were of course proven wrong.
