DJpeterDE, I used to take Amtrak a lot between NYC and D.C. I'll never forget as the train would pass through Wilmington, the city had posters up on the pillars of the platform bearing what appeared to be the saddest example of local boosterism ever committed to print.

The posters bore the legend: "Wilmington, Gateway to a Great Getaway"

In otherwords, the thing that Wilmington chose to highlight about itself was that you could leave it very easily.

In more recent times, there as been: "Wilmington: it's good to be first" and other weird things. Of course the most accurate and actually enticing slogan is "Delaware, Home of Tax-Free Shopping."

Bryan Ferry and Joanna Newsom, Mxter Baba! That is perfect! Some have described These Trails as "the Pentangle of Hawaii," but I like yours better.

Hello, Jeff Moore!

I thanked him on my show recently, but I will continue and forever thank Jeff for providing generous computer technical help to me and many on the Drummer Stream. Recently, Jeff guided me through a (what is always for me) scary migration from one external hard drive to another. And to sync it with me music library management system.

I would be a puddle under the desk were it not for Jeff's kind assistance.

I heard the front door closing softly
As I wakened from my sleep
With the last touch of her lips, Lord
Like a whisper on my cheek
And I cursed the sun for rising
For the worst, Lord, is yet to come
'Cause this morning she's just leaving
But come sundown she'll be gone
See the lipstick on the pillow
That I placed beneath her head
And the soft sheets still feel warm, Lord
Where she lay upon my bed
And it hurts to know it's over
For the hurt, Lord, has just begun
'Cause this morning she's just leaving
But come sundown she'll be gone
