We waited in Natchez for it to pass, then drove home and emptied the refrigerator. Everyone knew after Katrina that you can’t leave a refrigerator full of food for several weeks with no electricity. You end up throwing out the refrigerator. Then went on an unplanned online-working road trip vacation through MS, AL, GA, NC, VA, WV, TN, KY. Had to fix a fence after we got back home.
